CLUB OBJECTIVES
The objecives that we strive to achieve are TO CREATE and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of the world. TO PROMOTE the principles of good government and good citizenship. TO TAKE an active interest in the civic, cultural, social, and moral welfare of the community. TO UNITE the clubs in the bonds of friendship, good fellowship, and mutual understanding. TO PROVIDE a forum for the open discussion of all matters of public interest; provided, however, that partisan politics and sectarian religion shall not be debated by club members. TO ENCOURAGE service-minded individuals to serve their community without personal financial reward, and to encourage efficiency and promote high ethical standards in commerce, industry, professions, public works, and private endeavors.

Help local food banks, soup kitchens, and the Salvation Army *Provided needed equipment and funds for local police and fire departments *Sponsor Drug Awareness and Prevention Programs at local schools ? Sponsor Peace Poster Contests at Local Schools *Sponsor Red Cross Blood Drives ? Assist Fayette County Association for the Blind with financial contributions, vision screening equipment, and other necessary equipment to assist those who are sight impaired *Coordinated the purchase a new van for Fayette County Association for Blind in conjunction with other Lions Clubs in the County * Sponsor Little League Baseball team at Bailey Park *Recycle thousands of eyeglasses and lenses each year *Provide vision screening and eyeglasses for sight impaired children and adults *Donated the School of Champions Sign at Uniontown High School* Erected the welcome sign on Route 40 West *Constructed and maintain the Marshall Fountain Park *Award annual scholarships to graduating area seniors through the Thomas M. Dolfi Memorial Scholarship Fund, to date, the amount exceeds $72,000. * Provided numerous types of necessary care and essentials to children *In partnership with the
